Seminar Themes

The seminar is calling for proposals in any real estate topic with regard to education, but we ask you to consider the following themes in particular:

  • The future of real estate education. New competences for real estate students and real estate educators
  • The future of real estate industry. New skills and abilities for new real estate environment
  • Best practice in cooperation between universities and industry stakeholders to maintain relevance of the real estate education

There are couple of major changing in real estate market: shifts in population, urbanization, emerging market growth, global warming and sustainability, new technologies, increasing the role of private capital etc.

In this context is important to find what are the most important skills for tomorrow real estate professionals ? The top expected skills in 2020 are: complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management, coordinating with others, emotional intelligence, judgement and decision making etc. How the actual real estate programmes deal with this challenges and how universities cooperate with other universities and industry stakeholders to maintain relevance of the real estate education.


Submission Details

Submissions shall include the following information:

  • author/s name, institution and email address
  • title and abstract (max. 300 words) of the proposal

The submission deadline for abstracts has been extended until 15th Oct. 2019.
